News Item: : House of Lords Votes to Allow 3-Parent Babies - May God Forgive Our Nation!

The horrifying news has broken. The House of Lords has voted, by a massive majority of 280 to 45, to approve legislation to allow '3-parent babies.' Apparently, Newcastle University has already started offering women £500 to become '2nd mothers' to '3-parent babies.' The unethical scientists hope to eventually 'create' around one-hundred-and-fifty '3-parent babies' per year.

As we said a few weeks ago, when the House of Commons first voted in favour of this legislation, even Aldous Huxley could not have imagined a dystopian future as bleak as this.

Our once-great nation has rejected God and His Law in preference for unjust wars, abortion, homosexual partnerships, destructive embryo experimentation and a host of other evils. Now we will also be the first country in the world to allow experiments towards 3-parent IVF and genetically modified humans.

This is a blasphemous rejection of the image of God in man.

It is an attempt to radically alter human nature.

The experiments will result in countless human embryos being destroyed.

The door has been opened to the 'slippery slope' of all manner of other embryo experiments.

The way is thus also opened to so-called 'designer babies.'

Nartural marriage and procreation may be further undermined by attempts to facilitate lesbian motherhood.

As Fiona Bruce, the Evangelical Christian MP for Congleton, said a few weeks ago: ''There will be no going back for society.''

It would appear that the hour is now very late indeed for our nation. She has just taken, perhaps, the most definitive of all her steps towards outright rejection of God and of the Natural and Divine Law.

We must repent, pray and implore the intercession of Our Lady of Walsingham.

May God Forgive Us!
