We were present yesterday at the Latin Mass Society's Annual Pilgrimage to St. Winefride's Well in North Wales. The heart of the day was the Pontifical High Mass of the Precious Blood, celebrated in the parish church of St. Winefride by Bishop Fernando Rifan of Campos, Brazil. As His Excellency proclaimed in his homily, the centre of the day is the Holy Mass because it is Christ's own prayer and therefore we join our prayers to His.

It was good to see priests from around the UK taking part in the pilgrimage. Below, Fr. Keith Windsor OFM Cap. leads Fr. Tom Wood in the procession.
We are very grateful to Fr. Wood for offering Masses for my dad Ken in his present sickness. Below, Fr. Wood leads Fr. Agnellus Murphy (FI) who we met recently at Walsingham. Canon Olivier Meney (ICKSP) and Fr. Ian O'Shea are following.
Bishop Rifan had also offered a Pontifical High Mass a day earlier, with over 100 laity present, at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in the Diocese of Leeds.
As the Bishop and priests processed out of the packed St. Winefride's Church, the choir led the congregation in the hearty singing of the recessional hymn Faith of Our Fathers.
We are very grateful to have been able to attend this beautiful Mass and we give thanks for all the priests and people who work so hard in support of the Holy Father's restoration of the Sacred Liturgy.
