do795.jpgRegular readers will recall that last year we awarded Bishop Patrick O'Donoghue of Lancaster Diocese a Torch of The Faith: Man of the Match Award for his excellent document Fit For Mission? Church!

It is therefore an honour for us to have been invited by the young and dynamic Fr. Ian Dalgleish at St. Joseph's in Denbigh to lead a day of reflection on the document and the issues it engages. He is holding these days as an initiative of the Jubilee Year of St. Paul.

All committed and concerned Catholics are especially invited to come along to share in this day at St. Josephs, Bryn Stanley, Denbigh, LL16 3NT.

The day is Saturday 28th March 2009 and will begin with Holy Mass at 10.00am.

We will then give a 45 minute talk on this inspiring document.

An opportunity to discuss the themes in smaller groups in adjoining rooms then follows.

We will conclude with a 20 minute talk before moving into the presbytery for a buffet lunch at 12.30pm.

Why not come along for the morning and then use the afternoon to explore the castle, the town (which includes the site of an ancient Carmelite monastery), and the beautiful surrounding countryside?

Fr. Ian offers a Holy Mass of Reparation ad orientem every Thursday evening at 7.30pm in his parish. Please keep him in your prayers and please pray for the success of this initiative as a small contribution to the reconversion of Britian.
