News Item: : John Vennari - Requiescat in Pace

We've just read Rorate Caeli's sad news that John Vennari has died today. By God's grace, he was fortified by the Sacraments of Holy Church, and died in the presence of his wife and a close family friend.

There are clearly many other consoling details in the Vennari family's public statement, regarding the holy nature of Mr. Vennari's death. Please do click over to Rorate and read these through for yourselves.

In particular we find it remarkable that he died on the 98th anniversary of the death of Blessed Francisco Marto of Fatima.

Perhaps now people will start to pay attention to the urgent things that this courageous man consistently said about Fatima, regardless of opposition, over a period of many years.

We are grateful to God for his faithful witness and for the things that we have learned through his work.

May he rest in the peace of Christ; and may his family be comforted in their grief.
