News Item: : Some Traditional Latin Masses for Ash Wednesday in NW England

There are a number of opportunities for Catholics in this north west region of England to attend Traditional Latin Masses for Ash Wednesday. Although the following list may not be exhaustive, these include:-

Liverpool
St. Anthony's, Scotland Road, Liverpool, L5 5BD.

12 noon - Low Mass

Manchester
English Martyrs, Alexandra Road South, Whalley Range, Manchester, M16 8QT.

7pm - Low Mass

New Brighton
ICKSP Shrine Church of Ss Peter, Paul and Philomena, 7 Atherton Street, New Brighton, Wallasey, CH45 9LT.

Imposition of Ashes and Holy Mass at the following times:

9am - Low Mass

7pm - Sung Mass

Preston
ICKSP Shrine Church of St. Walburge, Weston Street, Preston, PR2 2QE.

Imposition of Ashes and Holy Mass at the following times:

9am - Low Mass

7pm - Sung Mass

St. Helens
Holy Cross, Corporation Street, St. Helens, WA10 1EF.

6:30pm - And also Night Prayer with Ashes at 7:45pm

Warrington
FSSP Shrine Church of St. Mary, Buttermarket Street, Warrington, WA1 2NS.

12:10pm - Blessing and Imposition of Ashes followed by Low Mass

7pm - Imposition of Ashes followed by Low Mass

Please note: Confessions will also be available for half an hour before each of these Masses at St. Mary's.
