Sometimes, especially when he really cuts to the chase, the erudite and witty Fr. John Hunwicke offers such wonderfully pithy statements, that they have all the crisp accuracy of a honed crystal point.

Here is one of those gems from his concluding paragraph yesterday.

Whenever, whoever, decks out encouragement or tolerance of adultery in nobly coloured biblical garments, whether 'Mercy' or any other scriptural tags, we know that the Spirit of the Antichrist is abroad.
